A day before our trip

We dropped by SGH to visit my grandma. (She checked out last Friday.)

Baby and Phat joined us at the ward before we all made our way to Marina Square for dinner. It was also his first time ever to treat my family now that he's working and holding a stable job.

I see someone's been putting on weight, yes?

Craving for a cup of hot chocolate because it's freezing here in my room.

Loved his choice of food! I got to have this one the next time we decide to have Secret Recipe.

Well obviously I don't celebrate christmas but to the rest who do, happy xmas everyone!

Embah's sixty-third

Happy birthday embah! Semoga dipanjangkan umur, dimurahkan rezeki, sihat selalu & berbahagia disamping keluarga. Jangan pikiran & jangan minggat! Sayang embah!

Dearest & I have planned to bring the kids out for ice-skating but unfortunately the rink was closed for ice hockey every Thursday evening. It was such a major disappointment for them and the fact that it was raining the entire time didn't help either. After much consideration, we brought them to ECP for prawning!

Thank you dear. I wouldn't have been able to juggle everything without you being there with me.

Then it was time to start the fire and barbecue!

It's embah's sixty-third birthday today. I'll be heading out to Northpoint in a bit to get her some flowers. So be sure to come back tomorrow to check out pictures from the celebration later tonight!

First things first, due to some unforeseen circumstances we didn't end up at Masjid Sultan like we planned to. Plus if you're wondering, sadly i did not fast. We left before noon and reach SGH to visit my grandma who was admitted two days ago after she met up with an accident, where the car she was in flipped over thrice and skidded to a halt metres away from a slope. That took place somewhere off Kuantan where they had just left Pahang and were well on their way to Melacca for their last stop. In conclusion, she was sent back to Sg by an ambulance from one of the hospitals in Melacca after my dad insisted that she was to be given the utmost priority while the rest of my relatives were stranded at a less than mediocre hospital there. So there we were waiting for our turn at the lobby to visit her since SGH allowed only up to four visitors per bed.

My poor grandma, who rolled out of the car when it came to a stop, suffered a minor fracture of her rib cage. But due to her other illnesses, it seems like she will be staying there for the rest of the week.

After dropping Phat to school and getting a cup of avocado juice, we made our way to Tampines Mall since papa would be meeting us for dinner at Changi Village later that night.
