Brilliant

49th

This was what happened on the last twenty-third.
Before blogger had one of its tantrums.

Since we were pretty much broke, we settled down at the rooftop, enjoying the breeze. Talking about cash flow, i should thank my lucky stars that i still receive half of the usual amount of my allowance despite having my holidays.

Black, white & my most favorite colour in the world, pink.
Okay fine, that is not my bag. My mummy's.  Most of my bags are just waiting for their turn to be dumped in the rubbish chute as they are all worn out. At least the flats are mine. ;p

The purple cardigan here is one of the three latest cardigans which i own. But the point is, whenever i like a particular item very much & totally adore it, (taking into consideration the reasonable & price) i would get them in all of the various colours possible. So, it's blue, orange & purple. For now, enjoy my feeble attempts of photography with a little guidance from him. I know perfectly well that it is nothing compared to others you might have probably laid eyes on. Nonetheless...

Notice something amazing about this shot? There were no more children splashing around in the make shift pond, thanks to the no swimming signboard.

After. Some hazelnut praline & berries smoothie for the night.
Pacific Coffee has got one of the nicest cakes around, imo. I suppose it's simply because they offer cakes which are different than those on display at Starbucks, Coffeebean & Mc Cafe.

Ice skate, double date

We hitched a ride with Nani & Salleh since my parents weren't home yet when i left home in the morning. (I can't wait to take a trip to Jusco Bukit Indah! According to them, it's almost right next door to our house there. Almost. The one at Tebrau City is many miles away.)

Of all days, i forgot to bring along my cardigan.

Presenting Singapore's very own professional figure skaters! Ok, bedek.

Super coincidental

Considering the fact that he had never skated before, (roller skating, i mean) he picked up the sport pretty fast. Despite the expected hiccups within the first half an hour, we had an awesome time skating in circles. Round and round and round the rink.

I only landed on my bum twice. Both while holding hands with baby.

Claiming the most coveted prize of having the most number of times falling on his ass.
Nonetheless, i am mighty proud of you.

In the nick of time, we ended up at MSP (since MB was jam packed, well the carpark was) to get a load of the fireworks displayed for the NDP preview.

Baby's beginning to pose more like me. But i can never beat his tiny-eyes-huge-grin expression. I would probably end up looking constipated instead.

We had a hilarious night, sharing ghost stories and lame jokes and singing in the car.

Kudos to our much anticipated double date! What's next? :)

2245 GV Yishun

While my parents were away to spend the night in JB, i persuaded my siblings to catch the latest magical blockbuster at the cinema nearby. But of course, we had to have supper beforehand at Macs to fill our empty tummies with melted cinnamon.

Come to think of it, the first time i picked up J.K. Rowling's stroke of genius in the form of a young wizard in a mission to find the philosopher's stone, was back in 2000 when i was just twelve.

Peaches & blings

"Am i at the beach? Am i at the beach?"

No, Sarah dear. We were at Swan lake, for goodness sake! & yes, Sarah had to make do with 1 big blue balloon & a couple of recycled birthday balloons from a nearby dustbin.

Our superior gorgeous Sarah

With Diva Lina Sam, THE brainstorm.
She insisted that her frilly top screams summer, but we thought otherwise.

Ilumak

My favourite!

Unfortunately, our summer charade had to come to an end as it began to drizzle. We then split into 2 groups and drove off to Dempsey hill for some B&J's milkshakes & ice creams.

Boobilicious birthday babe

Natasha Nadia, muke mintak kene sepak eh. Hahahahah!

I think Fira is so effortlessly sexy.

After which, we got a word of warning from the staff for being a tad noisy (they just wanted to kick us out) and walked across the road to Hardy's for wedges and Happy Family. I must honestly say that even after close to 4 years of sisterhood, i can never be as loud as them. In fact, according to Sarah here, she tagged me as The Shy One. Because of my curfews mainly, i only get to meet them on few occasions. Yet, despite not being really close to either one of them, i am grateful to have them as my girlfriends, or should i say, my blings? Here's a toast to Ama, Nat, Huda, Sarah, Sab, Fira & Nadia! (even though she's far away in Melbourne).
